Meeting in Paris – PCIC Europe 2007

In 2007, the PCIC Europe Conference will take place for the fourth time. After the successful event 2006 at Amsterdam in the Netherlands the conference became even more attractive. Paris in France is a really nice capital and the Concorde Lafayette Hotel will be a suitable location. An attractive programme of presentations will be waiting for the participants. The organizing committee had the real choice. A selection of about 25 contributions out of 50 will provide the needed high level and advertisement will not take place anyhow. Experts in the field of electrical and instrumentation in the petroleum and chemical industries will present special topics of their applications in English language. Discussions about the latest regulations will be included also.
The contributions from Pepperl+Fuchs deal with the topic safety and SIL:
- Calculating the "Probability of Failure on Demand" (PFD) of complex structures by means of Markov Models.
- How to verify the Integrity of Protective Functions falling under the scope of ATEX 94-9?
