The New Look of the K-System

The successful KC modules have in addition to the space-saving housing width (12,5 mm) also the advantage of the transparent front cover. Larger identification labels can be inserted in the transparent front flap. The operating elements are also better protected against dirt and manipulation. These advantages will be available to you in the 20 mm wide KF interface modules in April 2009.

Another new feature in our K-System is a stronger optical differentiation through colored identification of the device function. To differentiate between signal conditioners for safe area signals and isolated barriers for intrinsically safe applications, the signal conditioners are identified by a gray front side. This provides a clear overview in the switch cabinet through a distinct color separation from intrinsically safe current circuits. Power supply coding by type, such as green for DC, black for AC and light gray for universal voltages still remains valid for all devices.
