Sensors for Agricultural Machinery
Task
MP 2000 Compactor Baling Press
The MP 2000 compactor baling press from the Norwegian company Orkel has many applications for Pepperl+Fuchs' industrial sensors:
- Filling level measurement in a container
- Position control of flaps, shutters and casings
- Counting the number of axle revolutions
Implementation
Level measurement using the ultrasonic sensor UB2000-30GM-E5-V15
The Orkel MP 200 compactor baling press uses UB2000-30GM-E5-V15 ultrasonic sensors for measurement of the container filling level and control of the feed.
NBB8-18GM50-E2-V1 inductive sensors are responsible for indicating the position of the casing. The same inductive sensors are also used to count the revolutions of an axle and obtain information determining the size of the bales.
