Device Configuration with PACTware™

Gone are the times when one needed merely a screwdriver to configure and assign parameters to field devices. For more than five years now the PACTware consortium of medium-sized equipment manufacturers and suppliers in the area of process automation and software, has offered the standard operating software known as PACTware.The consortium develops and updates PACTware in close collaboration with its members on the basis of the open FDT specification. The distribution of PACTware, together with the DTMs, takes place through the many member companies and via their Internet sites.
